Making things

It's been good to have a quiet time here in Christchurch. As well doing some studying, hoping to take the ITIL foundations exam next week, I've bought some "stuff" for the house which came disassembled and I had to put together.

1. The trampoline

In a hope to lose some weight before I go back, I bought a bargain trampoline on the 1-day site. "Some assembly required" really was an understatement as it came literally in pieces, however over a few days and with Nate's help we got there.

2. A Bookshelf.

Much better than keeping my  stuff in plastic boxes, I decided to splash out $59 on a Warehouse  bookshelf, which also came disassembled. Putting it together was that  hard - just don't look too closely at the fragile  veneer-on-particle-board sides.

3. The shelves

Two very unassembled Warehouse shelving units for storing things in the garage.
